Assoc. Prof. Dr. Cemal Ulusoy, MD, was born in 1971 in Kırıkkale, Turkey. He is a General Surgery Specialist at Prof. Dr. Cemil TaĆçıoÄlu City Hospital in Istanbul, Turkey. He graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Medicine in 1998 and completed his residency in General Surgery at the same institution, in the Department of General Surgery, in 2006. After completing his compulsory service, he worked for three years as a General Surgery Specialist at Ankara Numune Training and Research Hospital. From 2012 to 2014, he served in several training and research hospitals in Istanbul. Since 2014, he has been part of the Gastrointestinal and Colorectal Surgery Unit at Prof. Dr. Cemil TaĆçıoÄlu City Hospital in Istanbul.
In 2023, he was awarded the academic title of Associate Professor in the field of General Surgery. His main areas of expertise include colorectal surgery, proctology, gastrointestinal surgery, diagnostic and therapeutic upper and lower gastrointestinal endoscopy, laparoscopic surgery, and minimally invasive surgery. His professional and research interests are primarily focused on the development of modern and minimally invasive techniques in digestive tract surgery, as well as on improving diagnostic and treatment methods for colorectal and gastrointestinal pathologies.
