Dr Bledi Brahimaj is a neurological surgeon whose clinical interests include the surgical management of complex brain, skull base and pituitary tumors, along with epilepsy and functional disorders of the brain and spine. Dr Brahimaj earned his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, prior to completing his neurosurgical residency training at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, IL. He completed fellowship training in minimally invasive cranial neurosurgery in Sydney Australia, as well as a skull base and neurosurgical oncology fellowship at the prestigious UT MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX. Â
Dr Brahimaj champions the philosophy of the right surgery for the right patient. His diverse specialized fellowship training focused on both minimally invasive âKeyholeâ approaches as well as endoscopic endonasal and open skull base approaches foster this philosophy to achieve the best possible outcomes. Throughout his career Dr Brahimaj has focused on clinical research, publishing in major neurosurgical journals and presenting his work at national meetings. He was awarded the 2019 AANS/CNS Joint Section on Tumor and Skull Base Surgery Award. Dr Brahimaj currently practices at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, TX. His primary commitment remains to his patients and guiding them through the challenging time of surgery. Â
