Dr. Husham Abdelrahman

 Dr. Husham Abdelrahman is the Director of the Trauma Resuscitation Unit at Hamad General Hospital and a clinical instructor of Surgery and assistant professor at the Weill Cornell Medical school-Qatar, associate consultant clinical surgery Qatar university college of medicine. He graduated from the Mansoura Medical Faculty, Mansoura University, Egypt. Dr. Abdelrahman completed his internship at the Mansoura University Hospital, Mansoura, Egypt, residency in General Surgery at Hamad General Hospital, Qatar, and Trauma and Surgical Critical Care Fellowship at Hamad General Hospital, Qatar. He obtained his Master’s Degree in Medical Education from the Joint Master of Professional Health Education in Suez Canal and Maastricht Universities in Egypt. Dr. Abdelrahman specializes in trauma, general Surgery, and critical surgical care. He is particularly interested in medical education, Quality, and Disaster Medicine. He is a recognized course director/instructor in many international courses, including ATLS, ITLS, ATOM, FCC, FDM, MIMMS, H-MIMMS, ADAMS, EDAMS, and EBA.
