John M. Porter, MD

 John M. Porter, MD, has been at Cooper University Healthcare since March of 2015.  He did his undergraduate education at Davidson College in North Carolina and his medical education at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.

He completed his residency at John’s Hopkins and a Trauma/Surgical Critical Care fellowship at PENN.

At Cooper University Healthcare, he is currently Director of the Center for Trauma Services, Trauma Medical Director and Head of Trauma, Surgical Critical Care and Acute Care Surgery. He is also the Medical Director of the Supply Chain and Medical Director of Diversity and Value.  At CMSRU, he is Professor of Surgery and the Assistant Dean for Clinical Affairs.
