Prof. Dr. Mahmut Tayyar Kalcioglu, M.D.

Prof. Dr. Mahmut Tayyar Kalcioglu, M.D. is Professor and Chair in the Otorhinolaryngology Department of Istanbul Medeniyet University, Istanbul, Turkiye. He was graduated at the Medical School of Hacettepe University, Ankara, Turkiye in 1987. He finalized his Otorhinolaryngology residency at Inonu University, Malatya, Turkiye in 2000. He worked as an observer at Beylor Medical College in 1999.
Currently, he is the president of International Cochlear Implant Society, Vice president of the Balkan Otorhinolaryngology & Head and Neck Association, delegate of the Otorhinolaryngology section of the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS), and Chief Editor of the Medeniyet Medical Journal. He has more than 200 published articles, boks, and chapters in some boks.
