Prof.Dr. Yekta Altemur Karamustafaoglu, FEBTS

Prof. Karamustafaoglu, FEBTS, graduated from the University of Istanbul, Cerrahpasa Faculty of Medicine, TURKEY, receiving an MD degree in 1995. He completed residency training at the Yedikule Chest Diseases and Thoracic Surgery Education and Research Hospital, Department Of Thoracic Surgery, Istanbul, TURKEY, in 1997-2002. Prof. Karamustafaoglu have been working since 2016 as a professor at the University of Trakya, Department of Thoracic Surgery, Edirne, TURKEY, where he educates residents and students and exemplify a commitment to surgical education and clinical research. He is certified by national thoracic surgery board in 2009 and FEBTS in 2019. He gave many lectures on the thoracic surgical field at national meetings, and is an active member of over five national and international academic associations and journals. Prof. Karamustafaoglu authored more than 100 papers, national and international, and has contributed to more than ten books in the field of Thoracic surgery.
