With this Award was honored:
Mentor Ahmeti, MD, FACS, Vice-President of the Kosova College of Surgeons for USA, is a Trauma, Acute and Critical Care Surgeon at Sanford Medical Center in Fargo, North Dakota. He is Chief of Trauma Service Line at Sanford Level One Trauma Center where he is also the lead physician in Mass Casualty Incident Preparedness, Emergency Department Simulation and leads the Surgical Research Team. Dr. Ahmeti is the Director of Advanced Trauma Life Support Course and instructor of Rural Trauma Team Development Course.
Kosova College of Surgeons in cooperation with Dr. Ahmeti, Sanford Medical Center and Sanford World Clinic, has organized the ATLS Course in Kosova for the first time.
The ATLS course was held on October 10-11 in Pristina, with a superlative organization by a team consisting of the Kosova College of Surgeons, Sanford Medical Center and Sanford World Clinic, the American College of Surgeons, and with the great help of the Medical Center Emergency in Pristina.
But in particular, the initiator and main supporter of this much-needed course for our health professionals was Dr. Mentor Ahmeti and the institution where he works, Sanford Medical Center, from North Dakota, USA.
