The Kosova College of Surgeons has established the Award for Voluntarism, to honor our surgeons who, on a voluntary basis, work to advance surgery in our country, either through direct work with patients or through continuing professional education.
Dr. Arsim Thaqi is a specialist in Otolaryngology, head and neck surgery also a specialist for sleep medicine. His background includes Vice Director at the department of ENT, Villingen-Schwenningen-Germany, Director at Department of Otolaryngology, Prishtina- Kosova. Dr. Thaqi is a Sinus Academy Berlin member and a visiting scholar at Ohio State University/ Wexner Medical Center, Columbus- USA.
This award for the first time was awarded to Dr. Arsim Thaqi, at the Gala Dinner of the Third Clinical Congress, held on October 14, 2023.
