Dr. Cleinaldo de Almeida Costa is an accomplished medical professional currently serving as the Director of the Department of Digital Health and Innovation at the Ministry of Health’s Secretariat of Information and Digital Health of Brazil. He holds a doctorate in Medicine from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of SĂŁo Paulo (FMUSP) and a master’s degree in Vascular Surgery from the Federal University of SĂŁo Paulo (UNIFESP-EPM).
Throughout his career, Dr. Costa has held several positions, including being the former Rector and Associate Professor at the University of the State of Amazonas (UEA). He has also imparted his knowledge as a professor in various disciplines such as Vascular Surgery, Emergency Surgery and Trauma, Telemedicine, and Telehealth at UEA, and Integrated Surgery and Trauma Care at the Federal University of Amazonas (UFAM).
Dr. Costa is a member of numerous professional bodies, including the Brazilian College of Surgeons, the Brazilian Society of Vascular Surgery, State Faculty of the Advanced Trauma Life Support Program in Manaus, the Brazilian Society for Integrated Care of Trauma, and the Pan American Trauma Society.
