Ekrem Maloku, MD, MMS, DABP

Ekrem Maloku, MD, MMS, DABP, as a Clinical Neuropathologist has provided diagnostic services for different neurological diseases and in a close collaboration with other team members helps to choose the best available therapy for the patients. Dr. Maloku spent several years doing Neuroscience research followed by a Residency clinical training in Pathology at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center (New Hampshire, USA) and Clinical Neuropathology Fellowship at New York University Langone Medical Center (New York, USA). The majority of his work is focused on central and peripheral nervous system tumors. In addition to clinical responsibilities, Dr. Maloku is very interested in further research and elucidate mechanisms in tumorigenesis and further improve patient care. He is also responsible for teaching Pathology to rotating medical students at Jacobs School of Medicine, as well as serving as an Attending Physician and training of Pathology residents at Buffalo General Medical Center. Furthermore, Dr. Maloku is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pathology (ABPath).
