Dr. Emmanouil Pikoulis is the Dean of the School of Health Sciences at the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA), Faculty of Medicine. He is also a Professor and Chairman of the 3rd Department of Surgery at Attikon General Hospital. Additionally, Dr. Pikoulis serves as an Adjunct Professor of Surgery at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USUHS) in Bethesda, Maryland, USA, and an Adjunct Professor of Humanitarian and Catastrophe Emergency Medicine at the University of Bern, Switzerland.
Dr. Pikoulis is the Director of the MSc program in “Global Health â Disaster Medicine” at NKUA and supervises the Attikon Medical Education Center (AKISA). He holds the prestigious European Jean Monnet Chair in Humanitarian Medicine and Response in Action.
