Dr. Petrit Mulaku, MD, MSc, was born in Vushtrri, Republic of Kosova, and is a graduate of Faculty of Medicine, University of Prishtina, Kosova. He obtained his medical degree in 2005 and started his Postgraduate Residency Program in Emergency Medicine in 2007 in the Clinical University Center in Prishtina, Kosova. He finished his residency training in 2012. He has 17 years experience in Emergency Medicine.
Since 2012 he has been practicing in the United Arab Emirates. Initially joined Al Sharq Hospital Fujairah as Head of Accident and Emergency and since then he worked in various hospitals across UAE in clinical and managerial roles. Currently he practices in Yas Clinic Khalifa City, Abu Dhabi, UAE, as Specialist Emergency Medicine.He has obtained Master Degree in Healthcare Management from Swiss Business School, UAE branch, in 2017.Â
His interests include acute medicine, trauma care, advanced life support, pediatric and neonatal emergencies, toxicology, environmental emergencies, education activities, quality improvement and safety in healthcare organization and transformation of healthcare services through digitalization.Â
He is an active member of Kosova Society of Emergency Physicians participating in various national and international conferences and scientific meetings as speaker and participant.
