Prof. Dr. Isuf Dedushaj

Prof. Dr. Isuf Dedushaj is a doctor, epidemiologist, university professor, and doctor of medical sciences from Vuthaj, Montenegro. He finished primary school in Vuthaj and Guci. He completed high school in PejĂ« and the Faculty of Medicine in Pristina in March 1976. He first worked at the Health Center in Drenas, Drenica. In 1976, he was employed at the Provincial Health Protection Agency, where he was selected as an associate for the subject of Social Medicine. He completed his specialization in epidemiology on May 20, 1980, thus becoming the first Albanian epidemiologist in Kosova. He completed his post-graduate studies at the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Sarajevo in Bosnia, where he received his master’s degree in November 1983. Dr. Isuf Dedushaj defended his doctoral thesis on November 27, 1986, at the Faculty of Medicine in Pristina. During the year 1986/1987, he completed his subspecialization in immunology at the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Zagreb in Croatia. He worked at the Health Protection Agency of Kosova from 1976 to 1990.

In the Faculty of Medicine in Pristina, he was also vice-dean and dean. Prof. Dedushaj was a member of the Editorial Board of the Scientific Journal “Praxis Medica” of Kosova. He has published 112 scientific works in Kosova and abroad. He is the author of several scientific monographs and university texts.
