Alper Uguz, MD, FEBS-HPB, is Assoc. Professor of Surgery at Ege University School of Medicine, Department of General Surgery. Dr. Uguz graduated from Ege University School of Medicine (2001). He completed his general surgery residency training at Ege University Medical School Department of General Surgery (2009).
He has been working as a staff surgeon at Ege University Hospital since 2012. He has been working in the Division of Hepato-pancreato-biliary and Liver Transplantation since 2015.
He had postgraduate training in liver transplantation at Asan Medical Center, South Korea, and in pancreas surgery at University of Heidelberg, Germany. Â
Dr. Uguz is a member of Fellow of European Board of Surgery (F.E.B.S.) in division of HPB Surgery since 2017. He is also a member of Turkish HPB Surgery Association. Â
Dr. Uguz specializes in surgery for hepatopancreatobiliary diseases and he has experience over 400 liver transplantation including living donor operations.
