Dr. Abbas Smiley

Dr. Abbas Smiley studied medicine, epidemiology, biostatistics, and sport psychology and conducted both clinical practice and research continually. After getting his PhD from Indiana University, he worked as an assistant professor at New York Medical College. He also practiced at Westchester Medical Center. Dr. Smiley designed and conducted several research projects, mentored medical students, surgical residents and research fellows and published more than 100 peer-reviewed articles. Dr. Smiley was nominated for “Rising Star Dean’s Faculty Award” by New York Medical College, in March 2022.
