Dr. Bedri Osmani was born in Pristina. In 2003, Dr. Osmani successfully completed his studies at the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Pristina “Hasan Prishtina,” specializing in General Medicine. After completing his studies, he embarked on a successful career in the field of medicine and surgery. In November 2003, he began his clinical postgraduate internship, developing his skills and medical knowledge.
Following the completion of his internship, Dr. Osmani worked at the Family Medicine Center in Obiliq for two years, from April 2004 to April 2006. During this period, he treated patients and expanded his expertise in family medicine.
Subsequently, Bedri Osmani worked for another two years, from April 2006 to April 2008, in the Emergency Unit of the Family Medicine Center in Obiliq. He demonstrated a high level of professionalism and dedication to emergency healthcare.
Having gained valuable experience in medicine, Bedri Osmani pursued a postgraduate specialist education in Surgery, with a particular focus on Thoracic Surgery, at the University Clinical Center of Kosova (QKUK) in Pristina, successfully completing it in April 2014.
Since April 2014, Bedri Osmani has been serving as a Specialist in Thoracic Surgery at the Thoracic Surgery Clinic at QKUK Pristina.
Dr. Bedri Osmani is the Chairman of the Association of Thoracic Surgeons of Kosovo (TOK) and also serves as the Chairman of the Committee for Chest Surgery within the Kosova College of Surgeons. In addition to these roles, Dr. Bedri Osmani is a member of the Board of Directors of the Kosova College of Surgeons.
Throughout his specialization and beyond, as part of Continuous Professional Education, he had the opportunity to attend training and gain practical experience in various countries, including Germany (Mannheim â University Hospital – UMM), Austria (Salzburg), Turkey (LIV Hospital), Macedonia (Skopje â University Clinical Center), and Albania (Tirana â University Clinical Center), among others.
Dr. Bedri Osmani holds certification in breast ultrasound and has actively participated in numerous conferences, conventions, symposia, professional meetings, and training programs, both domestically and internationally, for which he possesses the necessary certificates.
