Dr. med. Valon M. Baraliu MD, MSc

Dr. Valon M. Baraliu, Vice-President of the Kosova College of Surgeons for Europe, was born in Prishtina/Republic of Kosova. He finished his elementary and secondary education in his hometown. He started and absolved his undergraduate studies in the Medical Faculty of the University of Prishtina. Furthermore, Dr. Baraliu continued his postgraduate studies in the Universities of Aalborg /Denmark, Leicester/UK and Oldenburg/Wilhelmshaven in Germany. Afterwards he completed his Residency in Neurosurgery in Hanover/Germany. He worked as a Fellow and Consultant Neurosurgeon in the respective neurosurgery clinics pertaining to academic Campuses of Universities Göttingen and Regensburg. Currently, Dr. Baraliu works as Chief Consultant Spine Surgeon in the interdisciplinary Spine Surgery Department of Klinikum Lörrach, academic Campus of Freiburg University Hospital in Germany.
