Dr. Shkelzen Elezaj, born in 1967 in Peja, Kosova, is a highly accomplished medical professional. He completed his primary education and gymnasium studies in Peja before earning his medical degree from the University of Prishtina in 1993. In 1996, he furthered his education at the University of Sofia. Dr. Elezaj specialized in Urology, completing his training in Ljubljana in 2002. In 2020, he pursued post-graduate studies at the School of Medicine, University of Zagreb.
In recognition of his significant contributions to the field of Urology, Dr. Elezaj received gratitude from the Kosovo Urologic Association in 2019. Currently, from 2015 to 2023, he serves as the head of the Urologic department at the General Hospital in Peja.
Dr. Elezaj’s expertise is evident through his 19 publications in respected peer-reviewed journals, including GE, IJB, Med. Arch., OAMJMS, IJMR, AASR, and ACC. He has also actively participated in various national and international congresses.
