Fadil Gradica is a Professor of Thoracic Surgery at the Faculty of Medicine of the University Hospital “Shefqet Ndroqi” in Tirana. Furthermore, he was the Head of the Thoracic Surgery Department – the Lung Institute of the Faculty of Medicine in Tirana from 2011 to 2014.
His specialization includes General Thoracic Surgery. At the University of Tirana, he completed his Residency in General Thoracic Surgery in the period 1992-1996 and specialized in Abdominal, Vascular, Thoracic and Orthopedic Surgery. He received his Master’s Degree in Thoracic Surgery in 2004 and his Doctorate in January 2013. He has been certified as a General Thoracic Surgeon by ESTS, in Birmingham, UK since 2013.
Prof. Gradica is a member of numerous associations, such as ESTS, CATS, AATS, ESMO, IASLC. He also has a large number of publications as an author or co-author, and has participated in numerous local and international conferences, training seminars and courses.
