Lumnije Kqiku MD, DDS, Ph.D., graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, Department of Dentistry, at the University of Pristina in 1998. In 1999, she was placed in the Dental Clinic of the University of Graz as a senior scientific researcher. Dr. Kqiku completed the specialization in Dental Diseases with Endodontics and the sub-specialization in the field of Dental Traumatology.
In 2004, she nostrified her diploma at the Medical University of Graz (Austria), where she also defended her master’s degree to complete her doctorate in 2006. In 2007, she was on a study visit as a senior scientific researcher at the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Zagreb and in 2010 at the Medical University of Tübingen, Germany. She is a senior lecturer for students of General Medicine, Dentistry, and postgraduate studies. Since 2012, she’s been the Head of the Special Clinic of Endodontics and Dental Traumatology, Vice Dean for Doctoral Studies in the Dentistry section as well as coordinator for CEEPUS (Central European Exchange Program for University Studies). Since 2018, she held the academic position of Univ. Doz. Dr.med.dent at the Medical University of Graz, Austria.
Dr. Kqiku has received many research awards and has been invited to many countries where she has held numerous “keynote” lectures and served as an expert in dental traumatology. She is the author and co-author of numerous professional and scientific works. Actively participated in international and local congresses. She is a member of many local and international dental associations, as well as a reviewer of many scientific journals.
