Dr. Murat Özdemir is Assoc. Professor of Surgery at Ege University, Medical School, Department of General Surgery. Dr. Özdemir was educated at Gazi University Medical School (1998-2005). He received his general surgery education at Ege University (2006-2012). He has been working in the Endocrine Surgery Unit of the General Surgery Clinic of Ege University since 2014. He did his postgraduate training in intraoperative neuromonitoring and remote access surgery in endocrine surgery, at the University of Halle, Germany, Seoul University, Korean University, and Yonsei University, South Korea.
Dr. Özdemir has many publications and book chapters on endocrine surgery. He has also won awards at national and international congresses. Particularly, he took part as a trainer in courses on robotic surgery and remote access thyroid surgery.
